Single Parents Initiative is a Non-Governmental Organization whose origin is Africa with its Head Office in Kenya. Single Parents Initiative aims at empowering poor single parents and their families by increasing their household incomes for sustainability purposes.
Our main aim is to alleviate poverty amongst single parent homes.
We care about the life and welfare of a Single mother and a Single father by dealing with their psychological, emotional, spiritual, and economic wellbeing. We consider this as key to us and to the society as far as raising healthy and visionary children is concerned.

Our Programs
Single Parents Initiative aims at changing and shaping lives. What we do is aimed at providing a holistic approach into solving some of our society’s biggest challenges. We make sure our beneficiaries are empowered by creating opportunities for improved families and communities.
Our projects aim to help single parents rise above their current financial situation of lack to that of sufficiency. Our projects include advocacy initiatives, income generation, feeding initiatives and counseling sessions.
Our practical projects help beneficiary single parents to improve their household incomes, raise their children successfully and escape from desperate conditions of poverty and constant ask of handouts from friends and families. These projects also help single parents to participate more fully in the lives of their communities and challenge the discrimination that often prevents them from advancing their rights and participating in local policy decision making processes.
