Single Parents Initiative is a Non-Governmental Organization whose origin is Africa with its Head Office in Kenya. Single Parents Initiative aims at empowering poor single parents and their families by increasing their household incomes for sustainability purposes.
We care about the life and welfare of a Single mother and a Single father by dealing with their psychological, emotional, spiritual, and economic well being. We consider this as key to us and to the society as far as raising healthy and visionary children is concerned.
Single Parents Initiative programmes are designed with the aim of complimenting government as well as linking relief effort to long-term sustainable Development.
Having started implementation in the Eastern part of Kenya, we have identified 60 needy families that need our help. Out of this we have managed to help 15 Families that are already stable and are generating income for themselves.
We are looking for partnerships who believe in us and have the same vision as we do so that we can help redefine the narrative of single parenting.
The Total cost of sponsoring a standard family of a parent and four children for a period of 3 months is $500. This incorporates providing dry food for the family for 3 months and seed capital for the business venture they are to venture in.
